Hi [[firstname]]
Thanks for registering for one of more of the club tournaments which start today. Here is some useful information, if you have any further questions please reply to this email and we will come back to you.
Tracking progress
You can track progress and who you are playing via the MyCourts booking system. Please login and select the ‘tournaments’ tab.
Match format
Each match is best of 5 games, par 11 with 2 points clear beyond a result of 10/10
If you lose in the first round you will be entered into a plate, ensuring each player gets a minimum of 2 matches.
Once you have played your match, please select the winner in the MyCourts system. Select tournaments, then choose your tournament and you will see an option to select winner. Once you select a winner, this cannot be reversed, and will send an email notification to your opponent.
Dates
Matches can be played from today 26/6/24
The deadline for each round is shown in MyCourts with the finals being played on 6th July 24.
Not all competitions have rounds of 16 but these are the key dates:
• Round of 16 play by Friday 28/06/2024
• Quarter-Final play by Sunday 30/06/2024
• Semi-Final play by Wednesday 03/07/2024
• Final play by Saturday 06/07/2024
It is up to the individual players to arrange their own matches, you can do this at a time which suits both players. The club has booked out some evening courts and these can be viewed on MyCourts under the booking name ‘club comp’. You can use one of these courts at no charge or arrange an alternative time using the standard court booking procedure. To book one of the pre-booked courts please email committee@dunningtonsquashclub.co.uk and this will be confirmed, please request a date and time, plus the two players names.
Thanks again for registering, it’s great to have so many members involved this year – good luck!
