As part of the process of tidying up and refurbishing the corridor behind courts 2 and 3 the ticket and ball machine will be / have been removed.
Thus the current process of buying £2 stamps for guests has come to an end. The current machine has been sent to the museum in the sky and the process is now electronic. It is important that you pay in advance for any visitor/guest.
Here’s the new process.
Log on to your my-courts account and book your court in the normal way.
When prompted for your opponents name select ‘guest' and currently please transfer credit to the guest account. Shortly this process of transferring the fee will be automated.
The ball machine will not be replaced. During the last five months only 2 balls a month were sold, and during the twelve months to March 2016 only 3 -4 balls a month were sold. As you are aware this machine caused a huge amount of frustration. Balls are available for sale from behind the bar. For those who can not make it to bar we are afraid there is no viable alternative.
