After a busy summer with the Super 6 competition and the installation of the glass backs we are going to run the Memorial Handicap and the Super 6 final as a joint event on Saturday 8th September.
The glass back courts will be fully operational and it will be great to see them in use.
An on line registration will be available later today and the entry of £2 will go to charity.
All matches will be handicapped so plese enter as you are certain to get some entertaining games.
The initial games will all be played in small leagues so that all players get at least 3 games. These will be single game matches, American scoring to 15.
The winners of each league will progress to a semifinal and final.
The 5 games in the Super 6 final will also take place at the same time - so lots going on and plenty of livly banter to keep us entertained.
Presentations wil ltake place in the bar afterwards and a light supper will be provided by the committee.
We are targetting a 4.00pm start and aim to be in the bar by 7.00pm.
Please get logged on and enter the competition. All standards of player are welcome and a good turnout will see the playing season off to a great start.
