Club Web Site

Hi [[firstname]] A big thanks to all of the members who competed the recent web site survey, the feedback was invaluable and helps us to make informed decisions. Yesterday evening the committee had a meeting to discuss the future of our web site, highlights as follows: Our web site is used mainly by non-members who find us via search engines and is therefore a ‘shop-window’ of our club rather than a place where members go to obtain regular information. Most members use the mycourts system for bookings, leagues etc. Increasingly Facebook is becoming the best place to find news stories, coaching information etc and we need to continue to develop our social medial profile. We accept that many of our members are not currently social media users but the trend is certainly heading in this direction. The club web site needs to be updated to reflect it’s main purpose, that of attracting new members and presenting a professional external image. We have therefore agreed to a refresh which will be implemented by the committee to minimise cost. The new web site will be online for the beginning of the new winter season. We remain interested in any input from members so if you have an idea, or want to contribute please reply to this email. Regards Fraser 07515 377300
