Squash club re-opening as from 1st August 2020

Dear [[firstname]]

We are pleased to announce that the squash club will open for restricted play as from 1st August 2020. This decision has been made based on the information provided by the governing body England Squash and the UK Government plus the overwhelming feedback from members following the recent survey. In advance of the club opening we are resanding all courts and having the walls cleaned, this will be taking place on 30th and 31st July.

We would stress that it is the individual decision of all members if they and their families choose to play or not, everyone has a choice and all members should consider their own personal situations before returning to the club. The club has taken measures to ensure that we can return to playing squash while the COVID-19 pandemic is still active in the UK. The most important responsibility however resides with our members and we want everyone to take personal accountability for ensuring that the guidelines are implemented and maintained until a full return to squash is possible.

Membership fees have been frozen from the closure of the club in March and we will continue on this basis even if you choose to start playing as from 1st August 2020. When we re-commence charging for membership fees, your renewal date will be deferred for the period of closure.

If you are intending to use the courts or wanting to visit the club it is important that you read the following information and guidelines.
