Hi [[firstname]]
The committee met again last week to discuss general club matters. A significant part of the meeting was committed to discussing the options for re-opening the club, once we have agreement to do from the Government and England Squash. Unfortunately, we are still not in a position to confirm exact plans and dates but it is likely we will hold a sub-committee meeting later this week, if some clear guidence arrives from England Squash. To bring you up to date with progress in terms of the Government's position and that of England Squash, please see the following articles:

Latest ES statement on 9th July 2020
"The UK Government announced that indoor sports facilities in England can reopen from 25th July with social distancing in place. In the meantime, we are interpreting the newly-released Government guidance. We will finalise and release full guidance for clubs and venues to facilitate safe play during the week commencing 13th July. Please keep an eye on social media and email for further information. Thanks for your patience, we look forward to seeing the safe return of the game."
General
In terms of other matters which may be of interest to members. The committee agreed to work being carried out this month to refurbish all three courts, this involves cleaning of walls and sanding of floors. All memberships remain on 'freeze' so as soon as we can re-open every member will be given an automatic extension appropriate to the duration which the club has been closed.
Finally, we woud like to thank you for you patience and continued support, hopefully we can share some more definitive news before long.
With regards
Your Squash Committee
